Are you on the right track? Let’s schedule an initial consultation first to discuss your questions, concerns and goals. This one-hour session is for students and their parents. It’s an opportunity for us to talk through how to approach finding your best fit college. I ask you to send me your transcript and available test scores prior to our meeting so I can provide a thorough analysis. We can meet in-person or via Zoom, whichever you prefer.
The initial consultation may be all you are looking for, or you may choose an individualized plan with periodic sessions or check-ins to help your student stay on track or an all-inclusive plan to follow you throughout your college search and application journey.
Together we will create a personalized plan of action. Each session includes a one-hour one-on-one meeting in addition to any necessary research and planning both before and after. Emails, text and phone calls in between sessions are also included. We will create a list of target schools including dream schools and safety net options.
We’ll determine how many sessions you will need based on the schools you are applying to and how much work you want to do on your own at home. Regardless of how many sessions you choose, you can feel comfortable knowing that you can contact me any time. This option is perfect for students who want assistance with creating a resume, planning an essay or filling out an application.
If you want the assistance of a mentor helping you manage deadlines and tasks from the moment you start your college planning, consider this option. This includes an unlimited number of sessions to prepare, complete and follow up on your student’s college application process. Planning sessions can begin as early as the start of your 9th grade year and follow you through the application process up to graduation.
Please note I am unable to write any recommendations nor can I guarantee acceptance to a specific college.
